Where are you located?

Mother Earth Beads is based in Austin, Texas but we travel all over to serve our clients. Contact us and we will create a custom quote for you!
Where do the jewelry-making experiences take place?

We’re a mobile company and bring the jewelry-making experience to you! Whether it’s your home, office, or other event space, we handle everything on-site so you can relax and enjoy the experience.
What kind of gemstones do you have available?

Our collection includes a wide variety of gemstones and beads, such as freshwater pearls (in all shapes and colors), coral, onyx, moonstone, aquamarine, citrine, turquoise, hematite, tiger eye, quartz, agate, crystal, glass, porcelain, amethyst, garnet, tourmaline, carnelian, rubies, emeralds, sapphires, and more.
Do I need to bring anything to the experiences or workshops?

Just yourselves! We provide everything needed—from set-up to clean-up—including tools, materials, and a curated selection of gemstones and beads. We’ll also finish and close your jewelry for you, customized to your preferred size.
Is there a minimum or maximum number of participants for jewelry-making experiences?

We accommodate groups as small as six (our minimum) and as large as 100! Whether it's an intimate gathering or a big celebration, we’ve got you covered.
Do I need any prior experience to participate?

Not at all! Our events are beginner-friendly. We guide you through every step and provide all the materials, so you can simply enjoy the experience and craft something beautiful.
How long does a typical jewelry-making experience last?

Most events last about 2.5 hours. For larger groups (35+ people), we recommend planning for 3–4 hours.
Do you sell jewelry?

Yes! In addition to our hands-on jewelry-making experiences, we host charm bar pop-ups featuring ready-made, handcrafted pearl, gemstone and metal jewelry by the Mother Earth Beads team. Do you do events for kids?

Yes! Our bead and beaded accessory packages are perfect for kids! For safety reasons, we do not currently host events for children under 10.
What kind of metals are used in the jewelry-making experiences?

We use high-quality metals including stainless steel and 18K gold-plated clasps and toggles. Charms are a mix of 18K gold-plated, alloy, stainless steel, and brass.
Do you offer repairs or resizing after the event?

Yes! If something happens to your piece, we’re happy to repair or resize it free of charge. Just get in touch.

Can you provide food and drinks for jewelry-making experiences?

Absolutely! We’re happy to coordinate a beautiful spread of food and beverages for your event, including grazing tables with artisanal cheeses and charcuterie, canapés, desserts, and alcoholic drinks—all sourced from local Austin vendors. All food and drinks will be billed at cost, plus a 20% coordination fee for convenience and vendor management.
Do you offer discounts for jewelry-making experiences?

We offer discounts to charitable, religious, and nonprofit organizations. Additionally, if you have a large group (40 people or more), we’d be happy to work with you on a discounted price. Contact us to learn more.
Do you do brand or corporate events?

Yes! We love collaborating with companies to create branded jewelry-making experiences. Whether it’s a team-building activity, an employee appreciation event, a conference, SXSW event, or a product launch, we can tailor the experience to reflect your brand—down to the colors and/or custom charms.
